Description: A historical and architectural tour of the amazingly beautiful and unique cities of Uzbekistan which is composed of a combination of historical and modern architectural, cultural and ethnographic components. Also more detailed information about tour sites and tourist info-structures (hotels, restaurants, national homes, entertainment sales points) will be given during the excursion.

Day: 1 Tashkent
15.55 – Meeting at the International Airport of Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation at the hotel. Free time for rest. Dinner.
Day: 2 Tashkent – Urgench - Khiva
Tashkent – the capital of a young independent state, was founded more than 2000 years ago. Name of city has been changed many times during the centuries-old history:Chach, Shash, Binkent. All of these names could be transformed to Turkish word “Tash” (stone) that gave a name to the city – Tashkent (means “stone city”). Being the crossroads of orient and occident it is considered the “Gates to Central Asia” in modern time, also it is the largest city in the region, besides, it is political, business, scientific and cultural center of Uzbekistan.
Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion along historical part of Tashkent: madrasah Barakhan (XVI century), madrasah Juma, Kaffal-Shashi mausoleum (XVI century), madrasah Kukaldash (XVI century), bazaar “Chorsu”.
Lunch.Transfer to the local airport. Flight to Urgench. Arrival to Urgench – the administration centre of the Khorezm region. Transfer to Khiva (35 km, 30 min) – the only “Museum unde the open sky” in Central Asia that has been completely pereserved up to present days. Accommodation at the hotel. Dinner.
Day: 3 Khiva
Breakfast at the hotel.
Khiva – the pearl of the Khorezm oasis impresses one with its beauty that time has not destroyed. Khiva is located in the Kyzyl-Kum desert. Distance between Khiva and Tashkent is 1120 km. There are so many medressahs and mosques – big and small – located in the limited territory of the town that its is hard to believe while walking through the labyrinth of the oldest past of the town – that a modern city churns with life just a few yards away.
Excursion along architectural complex “Ichan Kala” : Muhammad Amin Khan – the largest medieval madrasah in Khiva (1850 – 1855 yy) Minaret Kalta Minor (XIX c), Kunya- Ark inner citadel (XVI-XVII c), Medrasah of Muhammad Rahimhan II (Feruz), Memorial Pahlavan Mahmud - the religious center of Ichan-Kala (1810-1913 yy) madrasah Islam Khodja (1910) - the chief vizier last Khan of Khiva, and the Minister of Finance of Khiva Khanate.
Lunch at the national house.
Continuation of excursion : Juma Mosque with 213 wooden columns and a minaret, a height of 32.5 m (X c), Ak Mechet ( "White Mosque") - a small quarter mosque by the gate-Palvan Darvaz (1838-1842 biennium) Tash-Hawl - Palace looks like a fortress with high teeth (XIX c), the traditional cultural center of Khorezm Medrese "Allakulihan.
Dinner at the “Khorezm Art Restaurant”. Return to the hotel. Free time for rest.
Day: 4 Khiva – Bukhara (450 km)
Early breakfast at the hotel, departure to Bukhara. The road from Khiva to Bukhara stretches along Kyzyl Kum desert – the biggest desert in Central Asia region. Here you can see caravans of camels. The desert place was the home for lots of nomads. Arrival to Bukhar, accommodation at the hotel. Dinner.
Day: 5 Bukhara - Samarkand(300 km)
By the decision of UNESCO Bukhara was included on the list of the world’s most impressive scientific and cultural treasures. It is one of few cities appeared and developed at one the same place beginning from the 5th century BC. This is the only city in Central Asisa where the unique historical atmosphere is remained in whole. Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion along Bukhara: Mausoleum of Samanids, Chashmai-Ayub mausoleum, mosque Bolo House, Ark, Poi-Kalon complex, and the minaret Kalon Mosque, Miri Arab madrasah, shop of carpets.Lunch. Continuation of excursion: trading house Tackie Zargaron madrasah Ulugbek. Medrese Abulazizhana, Row of trading stalls Tim Abdullah Khan, Trading House Tacki Telpak Furushon, Mosque Magoki Attar, Karavan-Saray, Trading House Tacki Saraffon, Complex Lyabi House.
Lunch. Departure to Samarkand. Arrival to Samarkand, accommodation at the hotel. Dinner.
Day: 6 Samarkand – Tashkent (350 km)
Samarkand – one of the ancient cities of the world, along with Rome, Athens and Babylon is the most popular tourist centre both of Uzbekistan and the whole Central Asia as well. Founded in the midst of 1st century DC, it was named first Marchanda and later – Afrosiab. Its most prosperous time was under the rule of the Great Temur.
Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion along Samarkand: Guri Amir Mausoleum, Registan Ensemble - Ulugbek madrassah, madrassah Sherdor, madrassah Tillya Kari.
Lunch at the national house.
Continuation of excursion : Mosque Bibi Khanum, Shahi Zinda complex, Ulugbek Observatory, Museum Afrosiyab. Transfer to the Train Station of Samarkand. Departure by train “Afrosiyab” .
Meeting at the Train Station of Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation. Dinner.
Day:7 Tashkent
Breakfast at the hotel.
Excursion along modern part of Tashkent: Mustakillik Square, Navoi Theatre Square, the museum of history of Timurids, Tashkent TV tower.
Lunch. Continuation of excursion : Amir Temur square, Tashkent metro, museum of applied arts.
Farewell dinner.
Transfer to the international airport.
End of the tour.
